Since the stop of “Plus belle la vie” last November, France 3 has been rebroadcasting programs on the slot historically occupied by the series. But the audiences are not there. The channel of the France TV group will therefore rely on the daily broadcast of the program “Samedi d’en rire”, presented by Jean-Luc Lemoine.

The program carried by Jean-Luc Lemoine, will be broadcast every day at 8:20 p.m. A space historically occupied by More beautiful life and which, since the end of the series, has seen several shows: reruns of Mory Sacko’s cooking show, Open kitchen… or even, at the moment, The 100 places you must see.

A shorter show than the Saturday show

France Télévisions will therefore soon be banking on another program: a daily version of Laughing Saturday, always with Jean-Luc Lemoine at the presentation. A shorter version since the show on Saturday lasts 1h30. Saturday to laugh about it everyday will offer the same concept as the Saturday show: a dive into our humorous and musical heritage. A new program will then be launched: that of Carole Gaessler, devoted to the Olympic Games. Last summer, it was originally announced for January 2023 but was postponed.

Raise audiences

The challenge for France 3 is to bring up the audiences of this box, which have been collapsing since the end of More beautiful life. The reruns of Open kitchen had to face a lot of competition with the broadcast of the World Cup. It was indeed hard to resist. But, even since the end of the competition, viewers have not returned to France 3. France Télévisions is therefore betting on Laughing Saturday because the show works well on Saturdays. To see if the daily variation will also find its audience.
