At the end of the year, Google will launch the new version of its Android mobile operating system. An Android 13 which will obviously bring its share of new features, including better management of QR Codes. Indeed, a “Scan QR” function could be integrated into the shortcuts.
Concretely, in addition to Airplane mode, management of Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or even the Lamp, the Scan QR function can be activated/deactivated in one click, and thus allow the user to quickly scan a code, from the lock screen.
It is currently difficult to know precisely how this new function will be integrated, but Google seems firmly determined to make life easier for users with QR Codes. Recall that the new Android 13 Tiramisu is currently at a very early stage of development.
