The Radeon RX 7900 GRE increasingly available in Europe

A graphics card which is not particularly promoted by AMD, but which seems to have an interesting quality/price ratio.

Officially released over the summer, the Radeon RX 7900 GRE is the third – and so far final – version of AMD’s high-end graphics card. A version with “changing” distribution.

Originally, the first rumors such as the officialization of AMD had been clear: the sale of the card would be limited to the Chinese market only, as had already been the case for other “GRE” of the brand.

Germany, then Italy

However, very quickly, AMD changed its tune by indicating that European integrators (but also other regions of the world) would have the possibility of obtaining Radeon RX 7900 GRE.

The idea was then to limit the distribution of the card to integrators only so that they could offer it within the PCs designed by their agile little hands. Small hands which, however, work in close connection with the brain and the latter estimated that players would undoubtedly be interested in purchasing Radeon RX 7900 GRE individually.

Only a few weeks after the card was made official by AMD, it was possible – mainly in Germany – to find “GRE” in retail sales, therefore no longer linked to the purchase of a complete PC.

A better deal than the Radeon RX 7800 XT?

Today, this method of distribution seems to be gaining ground and we have heard of another reseller, Italian this time, who is distributing this new graphics card individually, PKS Mega Store.

As our colleague points out VideoCardz, this new brand charges a rather advantageous price. The Radeon RX 7900 GRE is sold for 671.59 euros, which places it between the Radeon RX 7800 XT (544 euros) and the Radeon RX 7900 XT (835 euros).

Remember that the “GRE” is designed around a GPU with 33% more cores than the RX 7800 XT. However, the prices currently charged are “only” 24% more expensive. The calculation is quick, right?
