In February, Vox lets the red ball from his logo roll in a show with Martin Rütter as the supporting element: It's about 100,000 euros.

Vox is starting a new quiz show: According to the press release, "Die Rote Kugel" with moderator Martin Rütter is about knowledge, strong nerves and skill. The first four episodes of the program will be shown on Vox on Wednesdays at 8:15 p.m. on February 17. The prize is up to 100,000 euros, but the candidates also have to go through a lot, as Rütter announces: "'The Red Ball' will drive the candidates crazy." After all, they are not alone in this, but rather as pairs of candidates. These can consist of siblings, colleagues or a couple in love.

In ten game rounds the couples have to complete a picture by answering questions. With every round you complete, the amount of money you can win increases. In addition, each time they receive a red ball, as is known from the Vox logo. This is highly relevant for the game: The money is only secured when the red ball can be pocketed – which becomes more difficult from round to round as the distance between the candidates and the hole increases. With each new round, the couples are faced with the difficult question: save or continue playing in order to have as many red balls as possible left for the final round?
