The highly anticipated GTA 6 has, once again, been the subject of a leak. This time he is interested in its release date, which could correspond to the latest information on the subject.

A new leak from a visibly well-informed insider regarding the future major title from Rockstar Games is making headlines again. That being said, he brings us potentially very good news regarding its release date.
A new leak to add on the head of GTA 6
To say that GTA 6 is one of the most anticipated AAA(A?) games of the moment is clearly an understatement. Rockstar Games’ latest big project has a complicated history when it comes to leaks. In full development, a very early version of the game made the rounds on the web two years ago. More recently, it was its very first trailer that paid the price, forcing Rockstar to release it urgently. And now a new leak affects the sixth opus of the legendary gangster franchise. This time it relates to its release date.
We owe it to an insider who, before the leak of the trailer, predicted absolutely correctly everything it would contain. He therefore seems particularly knowledgeable about everything related to GTA 6. Thus, the new information he recently shared could be credible. According to him, Rockstar’s highly anticipated title would be released on PS5 and Xbox Series during the first quarter of 2025. More precisely, this would happen between January and February. That’s a much closer deadline than we expected.
Cross-checking information before the robbery
To add some credibility to the insider’s statements, a similar story came out from Rockstar itself. The studio posted a fixed-term employment offer online last week for a Russian QA translator. The duration of the mission is set at 12 months. Knowing that QA translation is one of the last steps in the production of a game, a release of GTA 6 during the first quarter of 2025 seems likely.
As always, however, this data should not be taken at face value. Rockstar will likely show up again in the coming months. A fanfare appearance of GTA 6 during the Summer Game Fest in June can certainly not be ruled out. Let’s hope that this will be an opportunity to have official confirmation of its more than extremely anticipated release, and closer than expected?
