But before this big highlight, together we sweep the releases for this week 15 with a huge Marvel production.

Disney+ films from April 8 to 14, 2024 (S15)

After entertaining subscribers with Free Guy, Disney+ is about to update its film repertoire with Black Panther Wakanda Forever. Thanks to a change in the media timeline, the sequel to the Marvel feature film is finally allowed to join the video streaming platform. Despite a tribute deemed successful to actor Chadwick Boseman, who died in 2020, Black Panther 2 did not convince everyone. It’s a cut above some of the MCU’s later productions for many, but it’s very far from being free of flaws. The duration, considered too long, for example worked to its disadvantage.

In the Disney+ films from April 8 to 14, 2024, we also have an original Disney+ exclusive, The Greatest Hits. A comedy-drama starring Lucy Boynton and the future Superman, David Corenswet. “Harriet realizes that some songs can literally take her back in time! While she relives pleasant romantic memories in the company of her ex-boyfriend, her journey through time soon finds itself competing with a love that is just waiting to be born in the present. Through this hypnotic connection between music and memory, she wonders – even though it is impossible – if she would change this past…” It will be available, like Black Panther Wakanda Forever, on April 12, 2024.

Disney+ series from April 8 to 14, 2024 (S15)

Blood Free doesn’t mean anything to you? This is normal, because like The Greatest Hits, this is a new program that is 100% new and exclusive to Disney+. A South Korean series starring Ju Ji-hoon (Kingdom), Han Hyo-joo (Cold Eyes) and Lee Hee-joon (Badland Hunters).

We follow the boss of the Blood Free (BF) company, Yun Jayu, who manufactures and sells plant-based meat. But her company, which is a worldwide success, will quickly attract jealousy and endanger the young woman. “As a safety measure, BF hires Woo Chaewoon, a former officer, to protect her. Suspiciously enough, Chaewoon does everything Jayu needs with perfect timing. Is he really just a bodyguard? Secrets and suspicions multiply within BF”. It comes out April 10 on Disney+. A series which will be broadcast alongside episode 49 of season 3 of Blue.
