Netflix films from April 8 to 14, 2024 (S15)
The first Netflix releases of the week were therefore relatively plentiful, particularly in terms of new films. But it’s not at all the same this time. While waiting for the arrival of the legendary The Godfather on April 15, subscribers will be able to enjoy Rocketman. The biopic on the no less legendary Elton John. The reboot of a cult series returns for a season 2: Hartley, hearts on edge. Forget the cast of the original version, Michael Jenkins – who directed two episodes of the 1994 show – and his teams having started from scratch. On the other hand, the concerns of high school students remain the same and the new episodes should still be eventful. “It’s the start of the school year, and our heroes are back in “the high school with the worst results”. But between the hot new students, the new PE teacher and a mysterious attacker, there’s no chance of a peaceful term. Fanny Robert and Maxime Berthemy (Profiling) are leaving TF1 to land on Netflix with Anthracite: The Mystery of the Sect of the Cases. A new series with Camille Lou, Jean-Marc Barr, Kad Merad and the rapper Hatik. What does it say? The daily life of a village which will be turned upside down by the assassination of a young woman according to the rites of a sect which raged 30 years earlier. It will be seen on April 10.
