Netflix is pulling out all the stops for the start of April 2024 with highly anticipated films and series. Real blockbusters and there is something for everyone!
Netflix subscribers know very well that the platform releases releases very quickly each month. A dynamic schedule that rarely has downtime. First week of April, Netflix puts us straight into the mix with blockbusters that we no longer know what to do with them. On the feature film side, we are served. Comedy with Taxi 5, the latest episode of the famous franchise. Worn by Gaston Gastambide, currently showing at Wages of Fear on Netlfix, and comedian Malik Bentalha, Taxi 5 did not really meet with the expected success, but can boast of having some jokes and amusing sequences. Police officers and thugs always with the trilogy of Beverly Hills Cop. Films as funny as they are action-packed with Eddie Murphy in great shape.
Godzilla and King Kong, two titans of fantasy cinema, will also be happy to blow up everything on screen in their first duo film Godzilla vs. Konga visually impressive film for Kaiju fans, starring the superstar of Stranger Things, Millie Bobby Brown. Finally, a little drama with ScoopTHE event release with Gillian Anderson (Sex Education, X Files), Billie Piper (Collateral) and Keeley Hawes (Bodyguard). The film returns to the catastrophic interview given by Prince Andrew, son of Elizabeth II, when he was questioned for almost an hour in relation to the Epstein affair, the wealthy businessman and trafficker sexual, a friend of the prince.

All the Netflix series from the beginning of April
Films are not the only ones making noise at the start of April 2024, since the series are also going to pull out all the stops. The cult anime GTO has already come to blows on April 1st and it will be closely followed by the live-action adaptation of another ultra-popular anime: the highly anticipated series Parasyte the Gray. This first season will be directed by Yeon Sang-ho (Last train to Busan, Hellbound, Peninsula), considered a true visionary of Korean cinema.
Far, far away from the alien invasion, this is the mini-series Ripley which intrigues with its black and white and its almost old-fashioned camera. We follow a crook who will set more than one foot in the world of Italian luxury. On the bill, some well-known faces like John Malkovich (Red) or Dakota Fanning (Once Upon A Time in Hollywood) and Andrew Scott (Sherlock), beautiful people then.

Shocking documentaries this week
And to complete this already busy week, several interesting documentaries are there. In particular, we will go behind the scenes of the 4Chan site, a sort of social network where many cases have broken out. We find everything there and it’s not always brilliant, what intends to reveal to us The Antisocial Network: Memes on Timeavailable this week. Crime scene in Berlin: Bloody nights, another program will focus on a case of bloody attacks in the heart of Berlin nights. A shocking documentary about a case that shook Germany.
