The US series “The Resort” starts this Friday in Germany on Sky. What starts out as a rom-com cut quickly develops into a gripping mystery story.

“The Resort” – that sounds like a holiday at first. This is how the series begins, which is now running on Sky. Three episodes are available at the start, after which a new episode will appear weekly. The first season of the Peacock Original has eight episodes in total.
Strange things are happening in The Resort
The main roles are played by William Jackson Harper (“The Good Place”, “The Underground Railroad”) and Cristin Milioti (“Made for Love”, “How I Met Your Mother”). In “The Resort” you embody a couple who want to spend their 10th wedding anniversary in Mexico. Arrived on site, however, relaxation is not the order of the day. A accidentally found cell phone draws the couple into a mysterious and unsolved case of two disappearances 15 years ago.

You can stream the eight episodes of “The Resort” via Sky Q and Wow and either watch the German dubbing or access the original English version. After the first season of the series has already aired in the United States, it has not yet been announced whether there will be a sequel.
