Well known to fans of the big and small screen for his roles in The Office UK, The Hobbit, Fargo, not to mention Sherlock, Martin Freeman once again reveals the extent of his talents by lending his features to Chris Carson this time . Through a skilfully woven main plot, in a dark atmosphere sometimes bordering on the gloomy, the actor delivers a striking performance.
Unrecognizable as a gruff cop with a sharp accent, he manages to reveal all the facets of this damaged, complex man confronted with his own demons. “I wanted to play Chris because he’s a perfect mix of vulnerability and strength,” he explains. Martin Freeman shares the poster with Adelayo Adedayo, a real revelation in the costume of teammate Rachel Hargreaves.
SOON A SEASON 2?
Whether you have started The Responder or not, know already that a 2nd season has already been confirmed by the BBC. If it should also include 5 episodes, the filming of this second salvo has not yet started. The return of Chris Carson should therefore not take place before 2023.
