The Righteous Gemstones: HBO renews whimsical satire for season 4

• HBO is renewing the Danny McBride series “The Righteous Gemstones” for a 4th season.

Just before the season 3 finale, HBO announces the good news: “The Righteous Gemstones” will be renewed for a 4th season. The religion satire with Danny McBride continues the wild story of Family Gemstone.

The Righteous Gemstones: Start Date

With season 3 kicking off in June 2023, we expect season 4 of “The Righteous Gemstones” to arrive on HBO about a year later if the ongoing writers’ and actors’ strikes are ended in time. Only a few months after the US broadcast, season 4 could also come to Sky Comedy in the German TV program.

The Righteous Gemstones: Storyline & Cast

In the third season that is about to end, trio of siblings Jesse, Kelvin and Judy (played by Danny McBride, Adam Devine and Edi Patterson) find that taking over their father Eli’s (John Goodman) religious television empire is harder than it is they imagined. It’s not yet clear what direction Season 4 will take.

Along with McBride, Devine, Patterson and Goodman, the series also stars Cassidy Freeman as Amber Gemstone, Tim Baltz as BJ, Tony Cavalero as Keefe Chambers, Greg Alan Williams as Martin Imari, Skyler Gisondo as Gideon Gemstone and Walton Goggins as Baby Billy Freeman .
