Filming for the second season of “Rings of Power”, the Lord of the Rings series, has just started this week, with a relocation of filming.
Commissioned for a long time by the Amazon Prime Video platform, the second season of the Rings of Power has just started filming. The series The Lord of the Rings, previously shot in New Zealand, will on this occasion relocate its filming to England, and more precisely in the new Bray studios, opened by Amazon to shoot its original productions there.
While the first season of the series will deliver its final episode next week, we know very little about this season 2, except that it will introduce a brand new character: the Elf Círdan, considered the one of the oldest beings in Middle-earth, notably appearing in several Tolkien novels including The Return of the King and The Silmarillion.
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power series, to follow every Friday exclusively on the Amazon Prime Video platform.
