The Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra is finally in our lab (and taking up space)!

The Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra does not lay low! On the contrary, this robot vacuum cleaner does not go unnoticed in your home… For good reason, it has a very large charging base, since it is equipped with three bins. The first is responsible for emptying the robot’s waste collector. The other two, for their part, are intended for the washing function: one allows the waste water to be recovered by cleaning the mop, while the other must be filled with clean water in order to clean it, but also to fill the water tank on board the robot when the latter is empty.

The user will therefore no longer need to clean the mop after each pass, the robot will take care of it on its own. If the Yeedi Mop Station and the Dreame Bot W10 have the same functionality, neither of these two robots automatically empties their dust bin. The Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra is thus the only one in our comparison to combine the attributes of the robot vacuum cleaner with those of floor cleaning robots. In short, this robot is completely autonomous.

Observing the first movements of the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra, we notice that it navigates wonderfully in our laboratory. It avoids and circumvents obstacles thanks, in particular, to its laser rangefinder which allows it to locate itself in space. Note that this compendium of technologies is also equipped with sensors placed on the bumpers, as well as a pair of cameras supposed to facilitate its movements.

Another significant point: the very low noise level of the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra, whether set to “Normal” or “Boost” mode.

The Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra review is expected to be released next week. For the time being, we are just starting the trials, which seem very promising to us! And its double role of robot vacuum cleaner / robot floor scrubber could well wreak havoc. It is indeed the first model in our comparison to benefit from three bins at the level of its charging station, allowing its maintenance to be completely autonomous.
