M6 is broadcasting the new season 5 of “The Rookie” from this Saturday evening. The opportunity to find John Nolan and his team in new adventures which promise to be eventful.
On February 3, M6 broadcast the last four episodes of season 4 of The Rookie. Viewers of the channel will not have to wait very long to discover the rest of the adventures of the character played by Nathan Fillion since this Saturday March 9 from 9:10 p.m., M6 will offer the first episodes of season 5.
John Nolan does to a serial killer
In this season 5 of The Rookie, John Nolan will once again be confronted with serial killer Rosalind and she wants him to know that she is not done with him. Meanwhile, Agents Bradford (Eric Winter) and Chen (Melissa O’Neil) work undercover with Detective Lopez and the Las Vegas Police Department to arrest the leaders of a major criminal enterprise.
John Nolan also receives a “golden ticket” for his heroic actions in the finale of the previous season, which allows him to become a training officer as he so desired. His first recruit, Celina Juarez (Lisseth Chavez, seen in Legends of Tomorrow), however, gives him a hard time.
The young woman joins the academy in order to solve the murder of her sister. For her part, Harper (Mekia Cox) and her husband move into a new house. The latter will also give birth to their daughter Leah, while Lopez (Alyssa Diaz) is pregnant again.
The reasons for success
While the 100th episode of The Rookie was broadcast on February 27 in the United States, Nathan Fillion returned to the microphone of The Hollywood Reporter on the reasons for the success of the detective series.
“I think the reason people keep coming back is the time they spend with the characters,” he declared. “Any time you put two different characters in a police car, you know you’re going to get different dynamics, and people are interested in that..”
One thing is certain, Nathan Fillion is not ready to say goodbye to The Rookie, season 6 of which is currently broadcast on ABC.
“After 30 years of career, it’s the best job I’ve ever had. There’s nothing I can offer them that they can’t handle, and it’s a true privilege to work somewhere where I smile every day on my way to work.”
