- “The Rookie” Season 6 has been taking a break from broadcasting since April 17, 2024.
- However, this is not due to Sky or Wow, but rather to the US broadcaster ABC, which is stretching the season so much.
- Episode 7 awaits you on May 1, 2024, parallel to the start of the season in German dubbing.
No new episode of “The Rookie” Season 6 has been released on Wow and Sky since April 10, 2024. US broadcaster ABC is once again taking a three-week break from broadcasting the popular police series. Episode 7 of “The Rookie” Season 6 will not be released in this country until May 1, 2024.
ABC did not reveal why there is such a long break for the second time. However, we strongly suspect that it has something to do with the fact that the greatly shortened season 6 is being stretched so artificially. After all, it only has 10 episodes in total.
Tim Bradford and Lucy Chen’s breakup in episode 6 also likely had a similar effect on fans as a dramatic mid-season finale would have had. In the trailer for episode 7 we can already see that working together becomes very difficult for Lucy and Tim after the relationship ends.
In total, we only have four episodes left, then season 6 of “The Rookie” will already be over. At the same time as episode 7, the German dubbed version of “The Rookie” season 6 is finally starting on Wow and Sky. Instead of publishing all previous episodes directly in the dubbed version, Sky is once again challenging your patience here. Only one dubbed episode appears each week.
A seventh season of “The Rookie” has already been officially confirmed. So new adventures from the LAPD await us.
