“The Rookie” is supposed to get married in the hundredth episode of the series, the second part of season 6 soon to be launched in the United States. But a succession of unforeseen events could unfortunately prevent Nolan’s union with Bailey!
As previously announced, season 6 of The Rookie: Los Angeles Cop will remain in the memory of fans of the series, now visible on Netflix. Indeed, after the revelation of an explosive first trailer, new details are filtering out about the hundredth episode of the copshow, which will therefore be the second part of this sixth salvo.

During this exceptional adventure, the marriage of Nolan (Nathan Fillion) and Bailey (Jenna Dewan) is finally supposed to take place… But a large number of unforeseen events could unfortunately prevent this union from taking place! Alexi Hawley, the showrunner of American fiction, makes some tantalizing revelations to the media TVLine about it…
In this episode titled The Curse of the Last Shift (to be translated into the language of Molière by “The Curse of the Last Watch“), Nolan is therefore preparing to walk in front of the altar on the arm of his sweetheart. However, according to his colleagues, fate always works against them when a wedding is planned…

Of course, the policeman refuses to believe in this thwarted fate that awaits him. However, an accumulation of events could push him to change his mind! Alexi Hawley says: “Nolan doesn’t believe in this curse, of course, while Juarez [Lissbeth Chavez, ndlr] keeps bringing her up because she’s superstitious – and everything will go wrong.”
“I had a lot of fun with this story. (…) One of our screenwriters was a police officer for 18 years and every time he talks about his own experiences, we say to him ‘That’s great, Nolan needs to go through that’. (…) The marriage of Nolan and Bailey will in any case be at the center of episode 100“, assures the showrunner.
The latter continues: “It was very important for us to make a happy episode that celebrates our characters. We’ve had weddings on the show before – some went horribly – so I thought it was important to tell a fun story, for the most part.“
