The Rowenta Airforce mower mows and vacuums in the same motion

With the Airforce TN9320F0 trimmer, Rowenta provides a solution to the unsightly residue of cut hairs on the edge of the sink. Indeed, the machine is equipped with a suction system to leave no trace. Yes, but…

With the toilet seat up, hairs in the sink are one of the many friction points in couples. Rowenta intends to remedy this with its Airforce TN9320F0 mower, which cuts hair and beards while vacuuming them. They should therefore no longer be a source of tension, even if Mr. has an unfortunate tendency not to clean up after himself once his shaving session is over. All he has to do is empty the (small) collection container in the trash and wash the filter from time to time.

But before sucking them, you have to cut them. Rowenta has chosen a system of self-sharpening blades, like those of the Philips HC5650/15. Note that they have a titanium coating to extend their life. As they are not mobile (unlike those of another Philips mower, the BT9810 / 15 Prestige), you will have to attach one of the three combs provided to them in order to take advantage of the 17 cutting heights that the manufacturer promises. Rowenta has provided two for hair clipping and one for beard trimming.

In order, no doubt, to provide enough energy to the device to run the duo of motors, one dedicated to the blades, the other to the suction, the Airforce TN9320F0 does not run on battery; it must therefore be connected to the mains. Fortunately, the cord is 2 m long if we rely on the technical sheet, enough for the user not to feel limited in his movements. Of course, it is not possible to use the trimmer in the shower. More boring, we will avoid cleaning it with plenty of water at the risk of damaging it irreparably.

Despite its atypical side, the Airforce TN9320F0 is not really new. Indeed, we had tested a similar model a few years ago, called Airforce Ultimate. The differences between the two devices are very minimal since Rowenta was content to add the comb for the size of the beard and to extend the power cord by 10 cm. The color has also changed, the rather sporty orange having given way to a much more discreet blue. Despite what the brand’s website and the various merchants who offer it say, this mower is therefore nothing very new. If you’ve already fallen for its eldest despite its two-star rating and it still works, you have no reason to pay 75 € to offer you the latest arrival.
