the rules of competition completely turned upside down for the 18th season

Soon back on M6 for an eighteenth season, France Has Incredible Talent will see some of its rules change.

Season 18 of France Has Incredible Talent will soon be broadcast on M6. During the last season, it was Rayane Hechmi, a young 15-year-old pianist, who was elected overall winner. The latter had also confided in the “unbreakable bond” that he has with Hélène Ségara. Viewers have only been waiting for one thing: to know who will succeed him. The suspense should soon end since the show will make its comeback on M6. However, no date has yet been given by M6.

Fans of the show should, however, expect some changes and new features for this eighteenth season. Eric Antoine, emblematic jury member who ended up in the emergency room during Fort Boyard, announced it to Huffpost: this edition will be that of “renewal”. Several rules will thus be turned upside down. This mainly concerns the Golden buzzer, flagship element of the show, and above all, very coveted.

France has incredible talent: the new rules to know

In previous editions, the Golden Buzzer made candidates dream of the direct place it offered in the final. This year, it will only give privileged access to the semi-final. The purpose of this change? That the jury can review a second performance by the talents concerned. In addition to existing rules being turned upside down, others have been added. It’s the case Platinum-buzzer. This finally replaces the Golden-buzzer, since it gives access to the final to only one candidate. The jury will therefore have to think carefully, and come to an agreement, before activating it. Quarter-finals have also been added in this eighteenth season.

In addition to these new features, a new arrival is planned, not the least. The jury does not move. It will always be composed of the appreciated Marianne James, Eric Antoine, Hélène Segara as well as Sugar Sammy. The change will take place on the animation side. Indeed, Karine Le Marchand will be joined by Justine Becattini, aka Juju Fitcat, the famous sports YouTuber. So many changes for this new edition!
