Samsung announces a new batch of devices now compatible with the One UI 6.0 (Android 14) update.

The South Korean manufacturer is definitely motivated to deliver the latest version of its Android overlay to as many users as possible, whether they own mid/high-end smartphones or Galaxy tablets.

More and more Galaxy A smartphones are receiving their update to Android 14

Last month, we discovered that no less than fifty Samsung Galaxy devices would benefit from the update to One UI 6.0 by February 2024. Since then, a few devices have been added to this long list, including the Galaxy A24 and Galaxy A34.

More recently, and for greater convenience, we provided you with the list of Samsung Galaxy A smartphones which will benefit from Android 14.

In addition to Galaxy A14 5G, A24, A34, A53, A54
and A73, now we learn that the Galaxy A52s (firmware A528BXXU5FWK4) and Galaxy A33 (firmware A336BXXU7DWK6) can now switch to the latest version of One UI, as promised by Samsung’s recently released roadmap.

For the moment, this only concerns a handful of European countries and France unfortunately does not seem to be one of them. On the other hand, the Galaxy A52s and A33 update should be available in most markets before the end of December, as reported by Sam Mobile.

One UI 6.0: the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and FE+ join the party

As you know, smartphones are not the only Samsung devices that can benefit from the update to One UI 6.0. Indeed, the Korean also offers its Android overlay to its eligible touchscreen tablets, now offering owners of Galaxy Tab S9 FE (firmware X516BXXU1BWK9) and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ (firmware of the software.

This is excellent news for the many users of Galaxy A52s, Galaxy A33 and Galaxy Tab S9 FE/FE+. Furthermore, note that the release of the Galaxy S23 FE is expected for the weekend in France (and that it will therefore probably be delivered with One UI 6.0).

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE

  • Excellent autonomy
  • The S Pen, functional and practical
  • Local DeX mode for multitasking

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE is a mid-range touchscreen tablet that is having a little trouble finding its place in a very competitive market, but above all dominated by Apple. For the same price as a 10th generation iPad, the Tab S9 FE unfortunately doesn’t have much to offer for those who want a high-performance tablet for sedentary use.

However, it stands out for artists on a tight budget, thanks to the presence of the S Pen, still pleasant to use on the 10.9-inch touch screen. That being said, we must warn about the imperfection of this screen, with colors that lack accuracy. The tablet, high tech as it is, also suffers from a lagging processor, which hardly compares with the iPad.

Despite everything, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE must be recognized for its excellent endurance. Its battery offers generous autonomy, allowing you to accumulate around ten hours of screen time for watching videos – one of the most common uses of a digital tablet. To conclude: a device that could be very attractive… at €100 less.
