While some have traveled all the way to the United States to get the Apple Vision Pro, which is only sold there, no one should go to the city of Dar es Salaam, one of the main cities in Tanzania , to obtain the Samsung Galaxy Fit 3, which would be on sale there.

Samsung’s next connected bracelet already on sale in Tanzania

It is a reader Samsung Community named Ahmed who sent the media photos of Galaxy Fit 3 boxes. He claims that they are on sale in certain stores in Dar es Salaam, an economically important city in Tanzania. The price of this new connected bracelet would be 2,500,000 shillings, or a little more than 91 euros according to the current price. Which would represent a move upmarket compared to the Galaxy Fit 2, which was launched at a price of 60 euros in 2020.

A launch in Tanzania which seems strange since Samsung has not even formalized this connected bracelet yet. However, many rumors point to a launch very soon and have revealed the design of the product as well as its features. The visual on the box corresponds to other designs published by some leakers recently.

Samsung could choose to launch its Galaxy Fit 3 at the same time as the Galaxy Ring, its first connected ring. The official announcement of the latter is planned for this summer, during July or August a priori.

What we know about the Samsung Galaxy Fit 3

This connected bracelet would be the update of the Galaxy Fit 2 released in 2020. It would have a 1.6-inch Amoled screen with a definition of 256 by 402 pixels. All in a case which would be made of aluminum and weighs 18.5 grams. This Galaxy Fit 3 could be used in a swimming pool since it would have 5 ATM certification.

On the measurement side, we could monitor sleep activity, fall detection, SpO2 monitoring, heart rate monitoring. The electrocardiogram, blood pressure or even the integrated GPS do not seem to be there. We might think that Samsung reserves its features for its Galaxy Watches, which are more expensive. We would not be entitled to Wear OS on this model unfortunately. The manufacturer should prioritize autonomy: 13 days are announced in the leaked visuals.
