Ubisoft Blue Byte will definitely have taken a long time to give birth to the next The Settlers. Announced in 2014, rebooted in 2018 and reannounced at the start of the year, it should have been released in 2022 on PC. But the developers still needed a few more months to finalize the project, which was delayed until next year.
We finally see the end of the tunnel, because Ubisoft just rescheduled its release date. It will look normal on February 17, 2023 on PC, under the final title of The Settlers: New Allies. It’s evolved since the last preview and private testing, so the team is also showing us what’s changed in an informative developer diary.
If you were hoping for a console version, more good news, The Settlers: New Allies has also been confirmed for PS4, Xbox One, Switch and Luna, for release at a later date. Something to interest all lovers of RTSall platforms combined.
