Since the beginning of The Sims franchise, the development team in charge of the license has sought to make its games as inclusive as possible. EA and Maxis have just taken a step in this direction.
Indeed, the studio and the publisher have made the customizable pronouns available on the English version of The Sims 4 title, via a brand new update. Thus, players can now customize, as they wish, the pronouns of the Sims they create. This was done in close collaboration with the It Get Better Project and GLAAD.

About the integration of customizable pronouns in the French version of The Sims 4 game, the development studio has provided details. In a recent post about it, available on EA’s The Sims page, the Sims 4 developers said they need a “ extra time to integrate customizable pronouns into other versions of the title.
