Since the official release of The Sims 4, EA and Maxis have been working on adding new content regularly. Thus, lately, players have been able to learn more about the bestial nature of their Sims via the Werewolf pack. Soon, they will be able to discover the High School Years pack or even choose the sexual orientation of their character.
Sims 4 Sexual Orientation Date and Details
Indeed, wishing include even more real-life experiences in the game, EA and Maxis have recently announced the arrival of the characteristic “Sexual orientation”. It will be available via a free update, from next July 28.
This feature will be accessible in the “Create a Sim” menu and will allow players to define the attractions of their characterand in several ways: same-sex or different-sex attraction, natural discovery of attractions through interactions with other Sims, physical attraction but not romantic and vice versa, or no attraction at all “.
Via the Developer Diary, available on EA’s website, High School Years Pack Lead Designer SimGuruJessica spoke about this new feature and said:
As a team, we believe that creativity, discovery, inclusivity and play are core values and we strive every day to celebrate diversity, equity and inclusion for our colleagues and our community. So we’re excited to bring the Sexual Orientation feature to all Sims fans. Between this update and the recent pronouns update, we are taking several initiatives to become a game that respects and celebrates the nuances and colors of everyday life.
