Gross gas consumption by the administration fell by 32.6% between November 2021 and November 2022, with consumption correcting variations, falling more modestly by 7.8%.
In October, consumption corrected by the administration had increased by 0.9% over one year for electricity and declined by 2.9% for gas, on a slightly smaller sample of buildings (about 8,200 buildings).
The government’s figures relate to only a small part of the State’s housing stock, made up of a total of 190,000 buildings, but the sample retained is representative, a large part of the buildings not being yet equipped with appliances. measurement of energy consumption, specifies the minister.
