The weeks follow each other and look alike at the top of the charts. It is thus always the Steam Deck which leads the dance on the Valve Software platform, outperforming many games. It must be said that this ultra-compact PC has clearly won over critics, despite some teething problems. we think in particular of the cooling system which turns out to be very noisy. Many Internet users also suggest DIY to limit the problem. If you are of course advised against altering the airflow, be aware that valve has made some software adjustments to limit the problem. That said, don’t expect a miracle. A powerful chip in a small chassis is the recipe for cooling problems.
The Steam Deck box
In second position on the charts, we find Elden Ring, whose success continues unabated over the weeks. From Software’s game continues to top the charts, and it’s hard to see who can take its place in the weeks to come. The bronze medal goes to Rogue Legacy 2, which is taking advantage of its first full week on the market (the game was released on April 28) to climb onto the podium. With 90% average on Metacritic and very positive reviews, do we finally have the challenger who can bring down Elden Ring?
The place of honor is for Monster Hunter Rise this week. Yes, the game was released in January, but it may have had a little boost to move up the charts. Indeed, the game is currently offered with a promotion of 50% (€29.99 instead of €59.99) for its classic version, and even 53% in Deluxe (€35.23 instead of €74.98). Finally, the top 5 is completed by The STanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe. Released on April 27, this version is a new version of the 2013 classic. Bigger, wider, and still as twisted, The Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe remains largely based on the original game, however, which may disappoint.
