Samsung is preparing to unpack its second conference of 2023 on July 26. We are expecting its new folding smartphones, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5, the Galaxy Watch 6 connected watches and new Galaxy Tab S9 tablets.
Samsung has had a well-regulated conference rhythm for a few years. At the beginning of the year, the Galaxy S range is presented, then in summer, it is the turn of the folding smartphones of the Galaxy Z range. These are often presented alongside other products such as tablets, watches or wireless headphones. Let’s see what will happen this year.

What we expect from the Galaxy Unpacked 2023
Three highlights are expected for this conference: folding smartphones, connected watches and tablets. We take stock of the rumors and what has already been revealed by the brand.
Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5
The stars of the show will undoubtedly be the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5.
For the Fold format, the main novelty expected is at the level of the hinge, which should pass on a so-called teardrop system. The interest is to be able to completely close the smartphone and therefore to avoid dust from entering it. In principle, a less visible crease is also expected from this advance.
The Galaxy Z Flip 5 will also feature a new teardrop hinge, this has been confirmed by Samsung despite recent rumors to the contrary. A very nice novelty which should be coupled with a much larger external screen. The bill should grow, however, by 90 euros.
Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic
For its watches, Samsung has decided to change the organization of its range once again. Exit the Pro model, we would once again welcome a Classic model with a physical rotating bezel.
The Classic model would also replace the Pro model with its more generous sizes. So we would have two sizes of Galaxy Watch 6 in 40mm and 44mm and two sizes of Galaxy Watch 6 Pro in 43 and 47mm. Autonomy should be improved by adding a new chip and a larger battery.
Galaxy Tab S9, S9 Plus and S9 Ultra
On the tablet side, the new Galaxy Tab S9 are expected. We mostly saw visuals of Galaxy Tab S9 Plus and S9 Ultra, as well as a Tab S9 FE.
As expected, the Tab S9 Ultra would continue in line with the previous one, with a gargantuan format exceeding 14 inches, a notch to have ultra-thin borders and of course, a whole gallery of accessories to compete with the iPad Pro.
