Who will be the “Celebrity Couple 2021”? The finale of “The Stars’ Summer House” will take place on October 28th (8:15 pm on RTL, also via TVNow). Peggy Jerofke (44) and Steff Jerkel (53), Lars Steinhöfel (35) and Dominik Schmitt (31) as well as Sissi Hofbauer (25) and Ben Melzer (34) fight for the final. In the final, the remaining couples have to play again in a playoff. Which celebrities have emerged as winners in the past five seasons?
Xenia Princess of Saxony and Rajab Hassan
The first season of “The Summer House of the Stars – Fight of the Celebrity Couples” took place in 2016. Princess Xenia von Sachsen (35) and Rajab Hassan were the first RTL winners and won the title “Promipaar 2016”. In the final they competed against Thorsten Legat (52) and his wife Alexandra, among others, and scored points in the game “Money and Love”. The men had to guide their blindfolded partners through the game. However, the winning couple, who had a son in 2015, separated a few months after triumphing on the show.
Nico Schwanz and Saskia Atzerodt
Season two in 2017 was decided by Nico Schwanz (43) and Saskia Atzerodt (29). Nico Schwanz gained TV experience even before the “Sommerhaus”, for example with “I am a star – get me out of here!”, And Saskia Atzerodt is no stranger to TV either. She was a candidate for “The Bachelor”. Even before participating in the RTL program, the two had an on-off relationship. After their triumph, Schwanz made a marriage proposal to Atzerodt. But the wedding did not take place. Instead, there were allegations. The final separation followed a short time later.
Uwe and Iris Abel
In 2018, the “Bauer sucht Frau” couple Uwe (55) and Iris Abel (53) won. In the final of the third season it went against society lady Shawne Fielding (52) and the former ice hockey professional Patrick Schöpf (52). After living together with the other couples for 17 days, the farmer and his wife apparently still had the most energy. The two are still together today. The pig farmer, who last participated in “Celebrity Big Brother”, and his current wife met and fell in love in 2011 while filming “Bauer sucht Frau”. Iris moved from Munich to Dötlingen for him. The wedding followed in 2013.
Elena Miras and Mike Heiter
Despite a lot of bickering, the “Love Island” participants Elena Miras (29) and Mike Heiter (29) showed that they stick together as a couple. In season four they prevailed. For the 50,000 euro prize money, Heiter had to put up with insults from his girlfriend in front of the camera in the 2019 final. She seemed to have forgotten everything after the victory and fell around his neck.
The two met in 2017 on the dating reality show “Love Island”. Miras won the show, but not with Heiter, but with her chosen Jan Sokolowsky (32). After the show, the relationship with Sokolowsky broke up and Miras got together with Heiter. With him, the Swiss had daughter Aylen in August 2018. The relationship lasted until September 2020. Both reality show participants are now happily taken again.
Andreas and Caro Robens
In November 2020 they made the race: TV emigrants Andreas (54) and Caro Robens (42) prevailed against Diana Herold (47) and Michael Tomaschautzki (48). The two not only offended their competitors, there were also several arguments between them. In the final, however, they performed as a strong duo.
In December 2020, the couple crowned their successful year with a special celebration: on Mallorca, ten years after their wedding, they tied the knot for the second time. Some former “Sommerhaus der Stars” participants didn’t want to miss the special day of their colleagues: Ex- “Bachelor” Andrej Mangold (34), YouTubers Lisha and Lou as well as Annemarie Eilfeld (31) and partner Tim Sandt attended the ceremony. The Robens met in Mallorca in 2010 and married a short time later. For several years they have been accompanied by the VOX program “Goodbye Germany”.
