Unveiled during the latest PlayStation Showcase, The Talos Principle 2 took advantage of the Summer Game Fest evening to present its gameplay in more detail.
The title transports us to a distant future, where humanity has long been extinct. But its culture lives on through humanoid robots that wander aimlessly through the remnants of our civilization. As they explore gigantic structures, players will confront new existential questions on topics such as the nature of the cosmos and the opposition between faith and reason. Or the fear of repeating, again and again, the past mistakes of humanity.
The exploration of The Talos Principle 2 will be punctuated by puzzles each more devious than the other. And for the occasion two new mechanics will be in the game. Thus players will be able to experiment with the transfer of consciousness and the manipulation of gravity. What to apprehend as it should be a complex scenario with multiple possible conclusions.
