Last May, the developers of Croteam best known for Serious Sam (who are anything but serious) and the editor Devolver Digitalknown for supporting original video game projects, delighted us by announcing The Talos Principle 2, a sequel to the 2014 narrative puzzle game overall very appreciated by the press and the players. THE Devolver Direct: The Return of Volvy then made it possible to discover a little more gameplay, very promising for players looking for puzzles. The delusional Devolver Delayed Showcase came to reassure us by confirming a launch for the end of the year and we now know precisely when our gray matter will be put to the test.
The Talos Principle 2 has therefore been dated for November 2, 2023 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC with a trailer showing us the futuristic world where robots live long after humanity has disappeared, while preserving our culture. These impressive settings will put our intelligence to the test, with various mechanisms, including lasers and portals which are reminiscent of those of Doctor Strange in the MCU.
The Talos Principle 2 will cost €28.99 and you can pre-order it on Steam with 10% discount until November 2, lowering its price to €26.09. Surprisingly, a bundle bringing together The Talos Principle and its sequel is currently sold for €26.08, which is therefore cheaper for twice as much content. Gamesplanet will soon offer it as well. On consoles, digital pre-orders will begin in early October.
