Available since Friday on Netflix, the series Le Goût de vivre with Zoe Saldana has not left viewers indifferent… far from it.
Inspired by the New York Times bestseller, Le Goût de vivre tells the story of an African-American woman who fell under the spell of a Sicilian chef while studying in Florence. Amy goes to live with him in Los Angeles where their respective cultures, apparently opposed, must cohabit. When her husband discovers he has cancer, Amy becomes his nurse and the architect of bringing their two very different families closer together. In this way, she hopes to allow her daughter to grow up in joy and love once her husband is gone.
