Based on the eponymous bestselling memoir by writer and journalist JR Moehringer, The Tender Bar is the new film directed by George Clooney. This drama tells how JR, a young boy without a father, will pursue his dreams of writing and literature thanks to his uncle Charlie, an eccentric man and owner of a bar, who will take him under his wing and represent the only figure paternal of those around him.

Ben Affleck, who plays Charlie in The Tender Bar, returned for AlloCiné on this role which is close to his heart, his experience as a father and the shooting of a film with his friend George Clooney.
