End of suspense for many: the Tesla Model S and Model X Plaid will be delivered to France this year! The opportunity to take stock of the prices and characteristics of these two electric cars.
We told you about it at the beginning of August, and it is now confirmed by Tesla: the new Model S and Model X Plaid will arrive this year in France and their prices are known. This therefore puts an end to almost 30 months without delivery of the flagships of Elon Musk’s firm in France, to the delight of the people who reserved their racing car, who had no choice but to show patience.
The first deliveries at the very end of the year in France
The electric supercars that are the Tesla Model S and Model X Plaid will indeed arrive in France from 2022, Tesla confirmed to us. The manufacturer’s website has been updated, specifying the prices and characteristics of the vehicles.
The electric sedan, the Tesla Model S, is offered at 138,990 euros in its Plaid versionfor delivery between December 2022 and February 2023. Equipped with three powerful engines (two at the rear, one at the front), it develops 1,020 horsepower to bring down the 0 to 100 km/h in 2.1 seconds only.
His estimated WLTP range is 600 kilometers and this estimate will no doubt be refined when it is approved by the end of the current year.
The brand’s premium SUV, the Tesla Model X, is also announced for the end of the current year or the beginning of next year, with a price starting at 141,990 euros for the Plaid version. Just like its little sister the Model S Plaid, the Model X Plaid has three engines, develops 1,020 horsepower, but has less mind-blowing but still impressive performance.
the 0 to 100 km/h is announced in 2.6 seconds and its top speed is displayed at 262 km/h, 60 km/h less than the Tesla Model S Plaid. In terms of WLTP autonomy, it is currently estimated at 528 kilometers for the Tesla Model X Plaid.

For the less powerful versions, it will be necessary to be armed with more patience however, Tesla having announced that only Plaid models will be delivered this year.
