The Little Prince is the most translated non-religious work of all time. Of the religious books, only the Bible and the Koran trump him. Antoine Saint-Exupery’s Plea for Humanism has been published in more than 480 languages and dialects. The first edition appeared in French and English simultaneously in New York, almost exactly 80 years ago (1943). Since then, the little prince has become a trademark.
