The unisex revolution for all

THE SEX ACCORDING TO MAÏA

If you regularly walk the aisles of digital sex shops, you may have noticed the rise of a new category of objects: unisex products, usable by everyone, for all types of practices, alone. or several.

Some, like theEndless Fun where the Mai Thai, allow to penetrate (a vagina, an anus) while enclosing (a penis, a scrotum), while vibrating (against a clitoris, a perineum, nipples). Others, like the End, turn any hand into a vibrator. Still others, like the Transform, are used to penetrate two people at the same time … unless it is only one person? Unless it is used to caress rather than penetrate? Or to wrap it around the erogenous zone of your choice? In 2014, when analyst Jon Millward had fun listing products according to the demographics of their buyers (the detailed report is here), it was found that 62% of dildo enthusiasts were men. It is reasonable to doubt that all of these men were strictly “passive” homosexuals.

Continuity of female and male bodies

Of course, we could relegate these innovations to the rank of opportunistic marketing productions, calibrated to keep up with the times, intended to satisfy the shopping cravings of rebellious teens with neon blue hair.
