Born two years ago, the Vertige brand markets its first product. And for its entry into the market, the manufacturer has chosen a kettle called Club.
Sporting straight and clean lines, the device ignores plastic. Indeed, Vertige wanted to create an eco-designed kettle and therefore set its sights on stainless steel, as well as on biosourced materials of natural and mineral origin. The device is therefore fully recyclable. In addition, each part can be disassembled and separated to allow the user to easily repair his kettle.

To contribute to its durability, the French manufacturer has refused to introduce an electronic card, without neglecting the ease of use of the device. Indeed, a thermostat makes it possible to regulate the temperature of the water between 70°C and 100°C. On the other hand, the choice seems somewhat random: no indication or screen provides details. Only a slider is installed on the front of the kettle. It is in fact up to the user to read the instructions to better understand where to place this slider according to the desired temperature.

Designed and manufactured in Indre-et-Loire — more than 90% of the brand’s suppliers are French — the Club has obtained the “Origine France Garantie” certification. As a reminder, this label is only obtained if the place where the product takes on its essential characteristics is located in France and if at least 50% of the unit price is acquired in France. And to avoid unnecessary overproduction and storage, kettles are made to order, as are replacement parts in the event of a breakdown.

This French and responsible design has a price. The Club kettle is sold at €289 for the 1.2 l version and €319 for the 1.7 l version, and is available in two colours. As a bonus, the user can choose to personalize his device by having the exterior of the tank laser engraved — and this for free. To reassure consumers and encourage them to buy, Vertige promises a durable kettle guaranteed for 10 years. The Club would therefore seem to be a wise investment. In any case, we hope so.
