Subway, bus, S-Bahn, tram or e-scooter: public transport users are often spoiled for choice in the urban jungle. This doesn’t make navigation any easier, but you still want to get to your destination as quickly as possible.
Although Google Maps already offers a solid solution for this, public transport users get clever additional features with apps like Citymapper. In an unfamiliar city, for example, it can be worth its weight in gold if your navigation app tells you whether you should get on the subway at the front or the back so that you can transfer to the next train as quickly as possible.
Also important: The app has real-time information. You can therefore always keep an eye on delays or cancellations. If you enter your daily commute, you will even be alerted by push notification in such a case.
