TF1 broadcasts the semi-final of the eleventh season of its tele-hook “The Voice” on Saturday evening. A new stage of the singing competition which will offer new power to the new juror of his show, Nolwenn Leroy. The singer is taking her first steps on the show this season as a “mystery coach”.
We thought his role as “mystery coach” accomplished. Nolwenn Leroy back in The Voice for the semi-final, broadcast on Saturday evening on TF1. The singer had participated at the start of the eleventh season of the singing competition show, after the blind auditions. As the fifth coach, she had the power to fish out a few candidates who had failed by the four main coaches, as she then explained at the microphone of Philippe Vandel on Europe 1.
A new power and new duos
Since that stage, viewers had not seen her on the show. But Nolwenn Leroy is back on Saturday evening with a new power: that of drafting a candidate for the final. In Saturday’s semi-final, ten talents will compete for four qualifications in the final, one per team. This is where Nolwenn Leroy comes in. She may decide to select a fifth talent, who will also return the following week to try to win the competition.
This sacred power will not be the only novelty in the well-oiled mechanics of The Voice. Saturday evening, the candidates will also sing in duet with their coaches. A first in the show’s history. The semi-final of The Voice airs Saturday at 9:10 p.m. on TF1.
