The Voice of Germany: Who guides the show instead of Lena Gercke?

Model and presenter Lena Gercke (32) has been leading the popular casting show "The Voice of Germany" (since 2011, ProSieben) with Thore Schölermann (35). Since Gercke announced her pregnancy at the beginning of January, there has been speculation as to how her moderation job will go on. "Lena Gercke is and remains 'The Voice of Germany' presenter," a ProSieben spokesman said on Thursday (May 28) when asked by the news agency spot on news. But there will be a replacement for her for the upcoming season.

Those who will moderate instead of Gercke, but ProSieben still keeps a low profile: "We will announce in good time who will represent them during their maternity leave", says the broadcaster.

The "Bild" newspaper had previously announced that "taff" presenter Annemarie Carpendale (42) would take over for Gercke. Filming for the tenth season is slated to start in the summer, and the format is usually broadcast in autumn.
