This is news that greatly saddens fans of the show. While a new edition is back on TF1 from Tuesday April 23, 2024, Secret Story returns with new features… and without certain symbolic elements, like the Voice. Indeed, Monday April 22, 2024, Dominique Duforest, the actor who was the famous voice of the show, will be absent from this new season. On a video posted on the X account of Secret Story, we can hear him passing the torch to the new voice. “It is with great pride and a heart full of emotion that the Voice has decided to pass the torch to a new Voice”we hear in the video, “The Voice was happy to accompany you all these years. The Voice wishes its replacement to take as much pleasure in making the inhabitants play as the Voice did. Finally, the Voice wishes to thank the public for all their love.” An absence that fans will have to get used to. The announcement made by the 73-year-old actor did not fail to make Internet users react, very disappointed not to find La Voix.
Real departure or surprise for the return of the show?
If many Internet users have displayed their dismay on the networks, disappointed not to find their favorite voice, others think of a kind of happening. “I am wary of appearances. Papi Duforest, you always taught us that”indicates an Internet user. “We must be wary of appearances, if it happens tomorrow there will be The (true) Voice, Benjamin Castaldi“, asks another. “The words in italics are not there by chance”, suspects yet another. “They have been capitalizing on La Voix for their program advertisements for 3 months, all to tell us that La Voix will not be there”, annoys another. However, La Voix announced “want to take a little rest”and that viewers will be between “good hands” with this new voice which promises to be “more playful than ever”. So, will fans of the show discover a whole new voice for the return of the show? Or is this a real happening on the part of the channel?
