The Wachaubahn – panoramic journey through the world heritage site

The golden railcars with large panoramic windows and the elevated route enable very special views of the unique beauty of the Wachau. The Wachaubahn, also part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, has been running in this region for more than 110 years. Today it connects the two cities of Krems an der Donau and Emmersdorf over a distance of 34 km.
