By chaining mediocre seasons, The Walking Dead no longer has the superb and attractiveness of its heyday, but many viewers still follow the adaptation of the comics on CMA. The series launched in 2010 will however end well with its season 11, the first part of which was broadcast in 2021 and the second in early 2022.
When are the last episodes that will conclude the series? We now know, because it was confirmed during the San Diego Comic-Con that Episode 17 would air on October 2, 2022. The others will normally follow at the rate of one per week, with a final episode 24 before Christmas. The trailer for this grand finalebetween a look at the past and a glimpse of the future, was broadcast in passing.
The saga will not end there, however. Whether The Walking Dead: World Beyond was canceled after two seasons, fear the walking dead will still be entitled to at least one season 8, a spin off on Daryl (finally without carol) and Isle of the Dead on Maggie and Negan in Manhattan are in preparation for 2023, and the anthology series Tales of the Walking Dead will start on August 14, 2022. It will consist of 6 independent episodes, notably centered on Samantha Morton (Alpha), Terry Crews, Anthony Edwards, Parker Posey, Poppy Liu and Jillian Bell.
And the Comic Con was also an opportunity for AMC Networks to announce a 6-episode mini-series on Rick Grimes and Michonnewhich replaces the film project around the hero of the first part of the series, missing since season 9 and sought by his off-screen companion since season 10. It will be an opportunity to return to the separate journeys of the two lovers , with the promise of a reunion that could be both magical and tragic.
