The Walking Dead in France: Norman Reedus absolutely wanted to film with this star in the Daryl Dixon series!

On the set of C à vous, Norman Reedus revealed with which French personality he absolutely wanted to film in his Daryl Dixon series, derived from the “The Walking Dead” universe!

American actor Norman Reedus and his character Daryl Dixon are back this week in the new horror series derived from The Walking Dead universe. The latter arrives in France, after waking up tied to a boat, off the coast of Martigues. How and especially why was Daryl sent to France?

While the filming of The Walking Dead took place in the Atlanta region in the United States, the production of this spin-off was relocated to France, in the Paris region in particular, but also in emblematic places in our country, such as than Mont-Saint-Michel.

Who says filming in France also says French casting. Thus, many French-speaking personalities appear in the series, including Clémence Poésy in the lead female role, but also young talents such as Ethann Isidore (Indiana Jones 5) and Kim Higelin (Le Consentement).

Invited on the C à vous set (France 5) to promote the series, Norman Reedus revealed which French personality he absolutely wanted to see appear in the horror program.

“I was a little nervous next to her” he confides on this subject. But this star is not a legendary actress like Isabelle Huppert or Catherine Deneuve, but a reality TV star!

A huge fan of the show Drag Race, of which he has seen all the episodes, Norman Reedus wanted to recruit the winner of the first season of the French edition. So, Paloma was offered the role of Coco, a survivor who works as a drag queen in an underground nightclub.

Several behind-the-scenes photos from the shoot were shared by Paloma on her social networks, including a selfie with Norman Reedus. In the France 5 show, the American actor also revealed that he had asked the drag artist for a photo, which he found “tremendous”and not the reverse.

Paloma, whose real name is Hugo Bardin, appears in the third episode of the series, entitled Paris will always be Paris, which is scheduled to be broadcast on November 17 on the Paramount+ streaming platform.

The Daryl Dixon series, derived from The Walking Dead universe, can be found every week exclusively on Paramount+.
