Dan Fogler, best known as the clumsy Jacob Kowalski from the “Fantastic Beasts” series, has also played the role of Luke since Season 9 of “The Walking Dead.” But Magna, Yumiko, Connie and Kelly’s boyfriend hasn’t been seen since the season 10 finale. However, we finally know what happened to him.

He reappears in episode 21 of season 11, along with his girlfriend Jules. He must have lived in Oceanside the whole time. Now the settlement has been taken by the Commonwealth and the two are on the run. They meet the group around Aaron.

Luke and Jules were on a tour gathering supplies for Oceanside. When they returned, the Commonwealth soldiers had already marched in. Luke wanted to fight, but Rachel (Oceanside’s leader) sent Luke and Jules to warn the other Virginia settlements.

The fact that Fogler has made himself quite rare so far and the fate of Luke has simply not been addressed is of course also due to the fact that the actor has been hired for several time-consuming projects in the meantime. In addition to “Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore’s Secrets”, he also directed the Paramount+ series “The Offer”.

Luke will probably appear again now to pick up loose threads of the story again. Maybe we’ll see Heath again in the final episodes after he just disappeared in season 6. On November 21, 2022, the grand series finale of “The Walking Dead” will be shown on Disney+ and ProSieben Fun.
