The actors of the zombie series “The Walking Dead” met again five months after the finale at an event in New York.

Surprise on the red carpet: The cast of the series “The Walking Dead” posed together for the photographers at the “AMC Networks UpFronts” event. Five months after the finale, stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan, 56, Danai Gurira, 45, Norman Reedus, 54, Lauren Cohan, 41, and Andrew Lincoln, 49, reunited in New York.

Three spin-off series are coming

With this reunion at the event of “The Walking Dead” broadcaster AMC, the stars promoted three spin-off series. They are scheduled to premiere in 2023 and 2024. Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl Dixon, signed autographs for waiting fans after the gala. As the “Daily Mail” reports, his colleague Clémence Poésy (40) kept him company. The French actress will star in the spin-off series The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.

The finale wasn’t the end

The grand finale of the eleventh and final season of “The Walking Dead” flickered across the screens of the US channel AMC on November 20, 2022. In Germany, the Disney+ streaming service showed the end of the successful series. The end of the original series that started it all in 2010 doesn’t mean the end of the franchise. AMC wants to offer fans many more stories from the zombie universe. The three spin-off series continue stories about “The Walking Dead” main characters. In addition, there is the first spin-off “Fear the Walking Dead” (since 2015), which will soon be entering its final season, and a continuation of the anthology series “Tales of the Walking Dead”.
