The United States Embassy in France has sent a warning message to its nationals.

“Protest Alert / French Elections: On Sunday April 24, spontaneous rallies in cities across France after 8 p.m. could potentially turn violent. Further protests are expected over the weekend with the potential for riots. Avoid protest zones”, can we read on the Twitter account of the Embassy of the United States in France. On the embassy’s website, the message is the same with demonstrations indicated at the Châtelet and Panthéon, in Paris, as well as Place Saint-Anne in Rennes.
