This calm weather in the north of France, hot and sometimes stormy in the southern regions, comes on one side from an anticyclone positioned on the center of the Atlantic which extends its influence towards the English Channel, and on the other side of a small stationary cold drop over northern Portugal.

North of the Loire until Vendee going up to the northern Alsace, a superb day in the middle of summer is coming, with generous sunshine and very pleasant temperatures. It will be a bit chilly in the morning near Manche, with a minimum of 10°C. In the afternoon, the maximum will be between 20°C by the sea and 28°C from Nantes to Paris and Reims.
Of the Charentes to Limousin and at northern Auvergne, as well as Morvan to southern Alsace, the sky will hesitate between cumulus and sun. Under a large cumulus, a small shower will be possible, even if this risk will remain limited. The temperature will rise to 28°C on average in the afternoon.
