The weather forecast for Monday July 4: sun, heat and a few thunderstorms

The weather is not changing this Monday, with sunshine in the North despite some cumulus clouds, possible thunderstorms in the South and very hot weather near the Mediterranean.

This Monday’s weather, very similar to Sunday’s, will be very sunny in the north of the country, with a very pleasant seasonal heat. The sky will be more threatening in the South with a risk of thunderstorms and possible heat peaks up to 40°C in the South-East.

This calm weather in the north of France, hot and sometimes stormy in the southern regions, comes on one side from an anticyclone positioned on the center of the Atlantic which extends its influence towards the English Channel, and on the other side of a small stationary cold drop over northern Portugal.
