During her youth, when she already dreamed of being a singer, Jenifer forced herself to smoke and drink alcohol. She revealed the strange reason on Hélène Mariano’s show, “En weekend avec…”, broadcast on TMC this Thursday, November 10.

At the mention of his grandfather, Jenifer was particularly moved. “He was a hero, my grandfather. He was a relatively quiet person, who didn’t need to talk too much to make himself understood. He was a war hero. He was too strong“she confided with tenderness, before revealing that he had not been able to see the pretty career of his granddaughter. “He left too soon, he didn’t see.” The singer was nevertheless able to count on the presence and support of her two grandmothers. “It was my grandmothers who witnessed my beginnings, from Star Ac’, from my first tour. My grandmothers came to see me on stage”, she remembered.
