The White Lotus series has made a triumphant return for its second season. Buoyed by the success of the inaugural season and the 10 awards won at the 2022 Emmy Awards, the new burst of episodes has won over more and more fans.
While the first season was set in Hawaii, the second season took us to another luxurious hotel in Sicily with new wealthy vacationers and the brilliant Tanya McQuoid, played by the no less brilliant Jennifer Coolidge.
Originally a mini-series, the success of The White Lotus allowed it to get a second season. So will the series return for another wacky vacation?
The White Lotus will have a season 3!
Good news for fans, The White Lotus will be back for a third season. The information was revealed by Variety as the broadcast of season 2 was in full swing.
In a press release, Mike White, the creator, executive producer and director of the series, did not fail to express his joy at this renewal:
“There’s no place I’d rather work than HBO and there’s no one I’d rather partner with than Casey Bloys, Francesca Orsi, Nora Skinner and their incredible team. I feel so lucky to have this opportunity again and am thrilled to reunite with my incredibly talented cast on The White Lotus.”
We will have to expect a new destination and a brand new cast for this third season. The second round of episodes included Aubrey Plaza, (Parks and Recreation), F. Murray Abraham (Homeland), Theo James (Divergent), Michael Imperioli (The Sopranos), Meghann Fahy (The Bold Type), Haley Lu Richardson (Two meters from you, After Yang) but also the Frenchman Bruno Gouery (Emily in Paris).
