She was a hit at the last Emmy Awards. The series The White Lotus received no less than 10 awards during this ceremony, with among others the prizes for the best limited/anthological series, the best screenplay and the best performances for an actor and a supporting actress.

In the series’ six-episode first season, creator Mike White (Enlightened) unpacks the neuroses of a group of wealthy vacationers at a Hawaiian resort. With this sharp and piquant exploration of the mentalities of those for whom everything can be bought, the showrunner delivers a sharp, funny and uncompromising social satire.
Each character – from the dysfunctional family to the clueless newlyweds to the angry hotel manager and the troubled billionaire – takes for his rank during a great necessary and life-saving existential crisis.
With an idyllic setting for decor, The White Lotus benefits from sumptuous and invasive plans and a careful staging to match the luxury in which these depressed holidaymakers bathe. We also revel in the dialogues launched with mischief by a high-flying cast: Connie Britton, Murray Bartlett, Steve Zahn, Alexandra Daddario, Sydney Sweeney, Brittany O’Grady and also the brilliant Jennifer Coolidge.
