This black grape variety originating from Spain appreciates dry and stony soils such as those found on the terroir of Assignan, in the Hérault. This is where Clément Mengus, in charge of the Château Castigno estate, vinifies it, but alone, in this cuvée Bella Casta, vintage 2021.
